The use of light for transparency, translucency and privacy is the dominant theme that embodies the asian inspired design.

Room boundaries disappear by retractable interior and exterior doors and room spaces can transition easily from one function to another.

 

The Tea House is a simple structure that can transform gracefully in function and per need without sacrificing design details or increasing its' carbon footprint.
